I’m so happy the cat cafe scene is exploding in NYC. Not only do cat cafes make for an amazing and cozy afternoon date, especially for those of us who live in tiny apartments and can’t have too many pets but always crave more cat interactions, cat cafes also provide an incredible opportunity to meet some of the most adorable and happiest cats on Earth who are up for adoption.

I don’t know how I walked away without adopting every single cat in Little Lions. They were beyond adorable (as you shall see in the pictures).

Little Lions was my second cat cafe experience (the honor of the first one goes to Meow Parlour and you can read about it here) and I loved every second of it. Along with a choice to spend some quality time with adorable furballs, you can also schedule an afternoon tea session when you book your reservation. The afternoon tea session includes a choice of tea or coffee, pastries and varieties of tiny, delicious sandwiches.

I’m entirely too happy about the current cat and pillow situation.

We visited Little Lions on a Wednesday afternoon and although there quite a few other cat patrons there, everyone was really nice and respectful, having a grand time petting cats, taking endless photos of them, watching them play, nap, explore, eye our food, and do other catty things.

Outside of the cat heaven where you get to have your play date and afternoon tea is also a very cozy coffee shop that offers drinks and an array of pastries as well as some adorable cat merchandise for sale.
